GE ZigBee In-Wall Smart Switch Issues

I am having an issue with the GE ZigBee In-Wall Smart Switch. I have 2x the smart switches in my house. These were setup about 8 months ago, and I haven’t had any problems with them at all. I decided to add another smart switch to my house to bring it up to 3 total.

There appears to be a problem in SmartThings Hub that is preventing this smart switch from working like the others. After I install it in the wall, and when it is in an unconnected state, it powers on and off the lights using the physical switch fine, however after I connect it to the SmartThings Hub through the mobile app, only the app can control the switch and the physical switch no longer does anything.

I thought this might have been a faulty switch and hooked it up through my Echo’s built in Zigbee hub and the switch worked perfectly both through the app and physically.

Looking for suggestions.

How far is the switch from your hub?

I had the same issue with a switch that had been in place for 6 months. Last week the physical switch stopped but it could still be controlled via smartthings.

2 days ago it started working fine again…

I will have to get it a try and reset it up.
