GE Hinge Pin Door Sensor 32563 Says Unavailable

I have two GE Hinge Pin Door Sensors model 32563. They work fine for awhile, but in a short time, the SmartThings App says they are unavailable, and they stop working, I pull the battery, they work for awhile, then go back to being unavailable. Any ideas?

Battery is 100%
Distance to Hub, both about 15-20 feet

The bottom right on the manual says Programming Options, what does that setting do?
