@chrisb I think I’ve got the device type modified to work with my contact sensor, but where can I find your shared apps?
So the 2wires that I have going from the opener to the button near my door is used? How does it know that I want to open the door and not just turn on the light or lock the opener? My button has 3 buttons on it not just a doorbell type.
Start a new SmartApp, then hit the “Browse SmartApps” in the top right. The very first entry is “Browse Shared Apps.” Click this then look in the “My Apps” section. No easy way to search unfortunately… you just have to look carefully.
The program is called “Virtual Garage triggers Outlet.”

I ended up using the LRM-20 as that one came sooner than my 80. It works great! The only thing I have not been using is having it close automatically. I have a sensor on the door itself and on the actual door that you use to enter but I’m worried that it will close when people are still entering the garage.
