I picked up a set of CR123 batteries for my Aeon Multi Sensor (gen 5). I naively figured it’d be possible to use both the USB connector and internal batteries. I was wrong. It’s not possible to use both at the same time. Mainly because the batteries fit together so closely such that there’s not enough gap to allow for the USB cable to fit!
Well, nevermind then. Now I’ve got some spare CR123’s…
