I have a couple of Frient devices installed to test them out and they seem to work well.
I just noticed though that if I remove the battery from any of them they still show as connected on the app. They should show offline.
Also even with the battery removed it still shows status as OK and will also display the battery level?.
Any ideas why this might be?
How long did you wait? With a few exceptions, ‘offline’ represents a lack of expected activity within a time period. If no activity is expected or the time period hasn’t expired then the device will still be assumed to be online.
The battery level is the last one reported. Similar to before, a device that has no activity and a device without a battery are going to look the same until such time as activity is actually expected.
