I’m struggling with a problem, namely, I own a lot of stuff from Samsung and therefore I am very approached by SmartThings. However, after contacting support, I found out that I can add other manufacturers as well.
Yes that’s right, I still added things from Tuya (limited operation but they are there). I was also told that I can confidently connect devices from Home Connect (Siemens / Bosh). It seems to me that, unfortunately, but only partially true, because as I try to search by manufacturer I see, for example, dishwashers.
However, of the refrigerators it is possible to integrate only Samsung and Dacor. In Home Connect I can see my refrigerator correctly and can manage it and receive notifications. When I try to integrate, no item shows up for me after connecting Home Connect accounts with SmartThings.
Is there perhaps a workaround for this or another way to add it?
Or do I have to wait, hoping that one day it will make it to the list of supported devices?
