First Alert ZWave Plus not connecting to my SmartThings Station

I cannot connect my new First Alert Combo alarm with ZWave Plus to my New SmartThings Station model EP-P9500TBEGUS. Does anyone have any info on this?j I have looked around but all I find are articles about V1, V2, etc. I don’t know which Hub I have. Is this even possible with the new hub?

The Error reads this hub is not supported.

Thanks

The station supports Zigbee, Wi-Fi, thread (and Bluetooth for onboarding). It does not have a Z wave radio. At all. So zWave devices cannot be used with it. :cold_sweat: It’s one of the ways they kept the cost down.

Samsung SmartThings Station review: a great smart home hub if you live in Samsung’s galaxy - The Verge

Your hub is just called The SmartThings Station. The V1, V2, and V3, are different models, which do support Zwave (although the V1 has been discontinued and won’t work anymore). The station was essentially a V4, although nobody calls it that.
.
If you want a current SmartThings hub that supports zwave, you’ll need to get the Aeotec. It’s a rebrand of the V3.
