FIBARO KEYFOB - Aeotec Smart Hub drivers

I am considering buying a FIBARO KEYFOB and was wondering if this will work ‘out of the box’ doing very simple things with my newly acquired Aeotec Smart Hub.

In other words, does the hub have native drivers available for this device ?

If not, can somebody direct me to a crash course in downloading and updating any (custom) drivers that I may need to use this new device.

Thanks in Advance.

Hi @Mitchell_Duncan

Yes, I have one and It works fine with stock smartthings Z-Wave Button driver.

Wow, what a response !!

Thank you all for your support and encouragement. I will now dutifully read up on the references you sent me, and let you know how I get on with my (yet to be received) Fibaro KeyFob (toy !).

Thanks again

Thanks to all above. The KeyFob did install ‘out of the box’.

Hi mine doesn’t connect to the hub. I selected add, device, brand, fibaro, and selected keyfob. Followed pairing instructions. The keyfob flashes green yellow then green again but smartthings doesn’t find it. It just says press any button 3 times but doesn’t find it. I’m finding smartthings is a bit hit and miss. Eventually i think ill have to move to home assistant.

GENERAL NOTICE
Thanks to all that advised me. I have decided to abandon the KeyFob as it seemed to be unable to operate reliably in my application envronment.
