I have a simple question. Is there any possible device handler that supports the wiring of a button/doorbell with the device. I can get some changing of the sensor when i press the button when the door is open but not when its closed
Contact sensors that accept external inputs like that are designed for the external input to be used as a substitute for the door magnet, not an addition. It’s essentially just two different ways to close a single contact, rather than two separate contacts. Changing the device handler won’t change how the hardware functions.
