Excluding Z-Wave device

Once I exclude a Z-Wave device do I have to reset it completely before adding it to another location?

I guess it depends on the device, but all of the devices that I’ve used just need to be excluded, then you can use them on another hub. What device specifically are you asking about?

I have a bunch but one is the Everspring Leak detector, and two are Z-Wave GE switches. Then the rest are Zigbee devices which I think just have to be paired depending on the device.

Yeah, the Everspring leak detector and the GE switches just need to be excluded, then they’re good to go. The Zigbee devices usually have some reset procedure.

I am printing out all the reset instructions for all my devices. The hardest is the ST devices because the battery once removed is hard to get back in at least on the new Motion detectors.
