I installed an Eve Energy Outlet with the intention of strengthening my thread network in my upstairs bedroom.
However, no devices will connect to it even devices a few feet away. I also tried setting up a new device right next to it but no luck. Devices in the bedroom are preferring an Eve Energy Smart Plug in a lower floor.
Has anyone had a device connect to the Eve Outlet? I’m wondering if my unit is defective.
How do see it if you use the Thread function on the Eve app?
My Eve Energy outlets show as Router, sometimes one is Router Leader, and if I click on any of them
The outlet appears as a router with an excellent signal strength.
Also, I unplugged the smart plug downstairs. But the devices in my bedroom connected to a smart plug in my garage instead of the outlet in the bedroom.
