Energy SmartApp & Edge Drivers compatibility?

Is there any limitation between Energy SmartApp and edge drivers?

When I changed my devices from Groovy to Edge drivers they were removed from my Energy, and only Samsung Windfree ACs still there.

I’d like to modify some devices in my OpenEnergy Monitor to Tasmota edge driver, but I need to be sure that edge drivers can send data do Energy.

Please, contact SmartThings Customer Support. They should know more about the limitations/compatibility of this app. It can be done through the following:

  1. Enter this page
  2. Click on “Support” in the upper-right corner
  3. Check if the URL includes your region. For example, en-us here: https://support.smartthings.com/hc/en-us
  4. At the bottom, select “email” and describe your issue as detailed as possible.
  5. Click on “submit”

No, they only help with issues in the SmartThings app at a user level.

Ok, as you want to create an integration, I’ll investigate this case more, you don’t need to contact customer support.

So, I checked this page and it says the devices that are supported in the app at the bottom.
It seems it doesn’t support custom integrations but I need to confirm that with the internal team. Once I get more info, I’ll let you know.

What is making me confused is that before update for edge drivers I had 4 smart outlets, and they where available in Energy smartapp, but with edge drivers they are not available. Than I’d like to be sure if edge drivers are able to connect to Energy smartapp.
If this is or will be available, than I can make hardware modifications in OpenEnergy Monitor devices to ST edge driver.
