Energenie ST integration - ready but Samsung not enabling

Hi,

Could a member of ST staff please comment on this - Aaron maybe?

“Adam told us that they have also completed the integration with SmartThings (through IFTTT) but they are still waiting for Samsung to ‘flip the switch’ and turn it on at their end. Hmmmm.”

Many thanks.

I saw that also, really confusing how it mentions Smartthings integration and “through IFTTT” in one sentence.

No exactly sure what you’re aiming to do, but would this be of any use? [RELEASE] MiHome (Connect) V2.0.1 [Energenie] (not Xiaomi MiHome)

Hi Alex, we’re just trying to get clarification on the quotes made by energenie. I personally doubt the official integration will be any better than your great work so far.

In fact I think they should endorse your app as it’s definitely making their product very attractive for smartthings users.

My team manages the testing process for new integrations. I haven’t seen anything about this, and am not seeing any code submitted through our publication process.

So much for flipping the switch! LOL

@Alyc100’s integration is looking very good anyway!

Samsung has nothing that I know of to do with creating an IFTTT channel. Any company that’s willing to pay IFTTT can do that.

Once they have an IFTTT channel, they have at least indirect integration with SmartThings. :sunglasses:
