this might be a stupid question but im struggling to find any information.
When moving my IKEA WRGB lights to this new edge drivers, do i need to remove and re-add them or is it possible to change the device type using the new edge drivers?

Hello,
many thanks for adding these devices. I have used the devices for the last few days and just want to give a little bit of feedback.
TRADRI Driver works very well.
The LEDVANCE bulbs are showing wrong color temperature range (starting from 1k) in automations. But I think I already read somewhere that it is a known problem.
The GLEDOPTO driver unfortunately generates a network error everytime you set the level or color temperature manually with the app. Color or level does change but afterwards the busy wheel on the slider keeps rotating until a message pops up saying that there is a network error.

Yes, to use an edge driver you have to uninstall the DTH device from the app and then add a new device, so that it pairs with the driver.
Some Ikea RGBW bulbs donβt works the color right
This error is usually because the device has not been installed correctly.
Normalmnete uninstalling and installing again solves it.
With the Edge drivers you have to have a little patience in the installation. The process is slower than it seems in the App.
When the found device appears, you have to wait almost a minute until the installation and configuration of the device is finished. Manipulating it during this process can interrupt it or it may not be done correctly.
The model: GL-C-008 is working fine for others users.
Hello Mariano,
Thanks for your quick reply.
I have removed all my Gledopto devices 3 times yesterday and waited several minutes after installation as you explained. Unfortunately it did not change the problem. In automations everything seems to work fine(or I just do not see the error message) but when I set level or color temp in the app it does change to the selected target value and afterwards I get the error message.

Good morning my friend how are you?
is there a possibility that you put the icons that is in the Zigbee Switch Mc driver also in the Zigbee Switch Power Mc driver?
if possible also add valve icon in both drivers
All good on this one
Thanks again
Yeah I canβt change colors, just generates a network error.
I donβt know what can happen.
You may have something similar to what happened to @uncledaveghr , with a GL-C-007 that seemed to be a same problem with a specific module, then installed another 2 and they worked fine.
Looks like it is a problem with the module, Ive added another 2 of these modules since with no problems.
Hello @niquini,
I am wery well, I Hope You are well too!
Each icon is a new profile in the driver.
I Will see, give me a time to do it
It would be easier smartthings to open the icon list in the app to choose the icon we want, without category restrictions
Iβm very well. Thanks for asking
Got it⦠I thought it would be simpler
in your time
that would be perfect
Can you try this test version, see if the RGBW Ikea bulb works?

I cannot add the bulb with only that driver installed. I cannot switch to it when I use the rgb rgbw driver to first add it and then go drivers-switch driver-the test one. It displays a network error when I try to apply it. I tried both wifi and cellular with the same results.
Iβll see if I can find the ID for the bulb
If you were able to pair with the zigbee Light multifunction Mc driver, you only have to change to the driver Test, without uninstalling the light bulb
Yes I canβt change it. It only adds itself when searching with the zigbee Rgb-Rgbw light MC. I doesnβt work with the multifunction (same result as test) and when I press change driver i have to search for it, it doesnβt show up in the list for compatible drivers.
Is this model?
- id: "IKEA/Bulb E27 CWS"
deviceLabel: IKEA Bulb CWS
manufacturer: IKEA of Sweden
model: TRADFRI bulb E27 CWS opal 600lm
deviceProfileName: level-rgb
Do add it to multifunction Mc driver?
Added to both drivers
Uninstall all old driver versions and install these

Thatβs the correct light and I can now switch drivers and add the bulb. But, I tried only installing the test drivers and then the system canβt add the bulb after reset. So I had to install it using the multifunction mc and switch. Sadly, both still generate network errors when trying to change color. Tried rebooting hub but no luck. I can, see the added options now for color random, does not change color either but doesnt generate any network errors.
I noticed that changing the level works but, setting a low level and trying to change color maxes out level again. So color seems to affect level weirdly enough.
I have a cleverio wifi bulb connected through smart life. It too generates network errors when changing colors but that bulb actually changes color despite the warning.
Anything you want me to try?
Sorry but I canβt think of anything else.
I donβt have that device and I canβt do more.
I have seen that in the stock smartthings driver there is no Ikea RGBW bulb either, only dimmables and color temperature, so I donβt know what problem there may be with the drivers and RGBW Ikea bulbs
These dhts work with the bulbs currently if they can provide any help.
I was referring to the fact that no edge driver that smartthing has works with Ikeaβs RGBW bulbs, they only include dimmables and color temperature, I donβt know if it has to do with the edge libraries, but I donβt know what else I can do.
However, they have included several other RGBW from other manufacturers, we will have to wait to see what solution they give, since RGBW from ikea are in DTH Stock, I think
