(EDGE Driver-Mc): Z-Wave Sensor and Child Thermostat Mc

Hello @johanv

I can’t find any reason why the temperature shows 0ºC on the device. the driver emits what the device sends it.
I understand that you are referring to the temperature of the device, not the temperature in the child thermostat, right?

Hello
No it had nothing to do with the thermostat. This is again working fine. I don’t use the temperature of the motion sensors for the thermostat. That was aeotec multisensor. The problem with the temperature of the motion sensor happened at the same time with the problem of the thermostat. Because I used the same driver Z wave Sensor and Child Thermostat from you I thought there was any relation

Hi

Can you help me with correct driver ?
I have Danfoss DRS21 with Aeotec hub, that I can not get to work as a thermostat (proper driver).

Thanks in advance

Have you tried the “Z-Wave Thermostat Mc” driver?

Hi

Yes, got that info from another thread and this driver did the magic.
Thanks

Hello Mariano and thanks for helping the community with so many drivers :glowing_star::+1:
I have a Telldus magnetic Door Sensor
that is connected to my doors so that tamper alert shows if a door is locked or not (with the help of external wiring to a microswitch in the doorlock). This worked great with older modified groovy drivers however since edge drivers were introduced for smarthings the official Z-wave sensor driver is automatically resetting the tamper alert after 10 seconds.
I really would love if it showed the exact state (clear or detected) but without auto resetting to clear.
I dont know anything about writing code but found out that you had made an earlier driver version where this tamper capability without reset seemed to work.
Unfortunately for me some other community member requested you to add autoreset. Is it possible to roll back and use an earlier verision of a driver in any way?

I think the version that still was without autoreset for tamper alert was this one:
Z-Wave Sensor and Child Thermostat Mc Version 2023-12-21T20:19:18.775234294

Is it possible to use that old version for my sensor and how do I do that without being a developer or is it possible for you to help out creating a version that tamper alert will not reset until state is changed physically by sensor?

Unfortunately Mariano is no longer active in this community. Therefore you are unlikely to get a reply.

Thanks for the reply Paul.
Thats sad to hear :frowning:

Is there anyone else who knows if its possible to roll back to an older driver version of an installed driver?
Since the function I need is there it would be nice to be able to try it.

Thanks in advance.

Addition. I dont know what I did but wjen tinkering and trying out the Mariano plugin as it is it worked even though someone posted that tamper value would automatically reset it actually didnt. So Im as happy as can be and even though you may not roam in here anymore I wanna shout out a big thanks to Mariano :glowing_star::hugs::heart_hands:

Hi! Will this work with the Aeotec Multisensor 6/7?

Aeotec provides their own drivers.

Thanks, but want to turn the sensor into a virtual thermostat (easier and more reliable way to control smart switches than routines in my experience) and I guess the Aeotec drivers cannot do this… But I find the sensor in the list of supported devices on Marianos site - so hope it will work with this driver…

Hi Mariano! I have a Namron floor thermostat with the following fingerprint: Manufacturer ID: 0x0438 Product Type: 0x0200 Product ID: 0xD013

It uses Z-Wave and works well with my SmartThings Hub V3. Could you please add support for this device in your Z-Wave Thermostat MC driver?

Hi again! I also have a Namron Zigbee sensor with the following fingerprint: Manufacturer: NAMRON AS Model: 4512771 Endpoint 0x03 includes cluster 0402 (temperature measurement). Could you please add support for this device in your Zigbee Temp Sensor and Child Thermostat Mc driver?

Hi, thanks for letting me know! Do you know if any other is providing similar service?

This is a 4-in-1 sensor and it’s on the Zigbee motion sensor MC driver.

I have two Haseman DIN rail multi-channel switches. One is a 10-switch RS-10PM2 and the other is a 6 switch DRS6-AI. Both are z-wave. I currently have the included on a Vera system and they work well. I am now migrating to Smartthings. However the standard drivers do not match then and I cannot find any source of custom edge drivers for them. When I included the DRS6-AI 6-switch unit, I only got one child using stock drivers. @Mariano_Colmenarejo have you created and Edge Driver-MC that may work with this device? Do I need to think about a new driver? Thanks in advance for any help.

For those interested, I got both Haseman units working with the stock drivers with 5 channels. This of course means that I have redundant switches, but fortunately I can live with this in my scenario.

I don’t know if this is the right place to post as i am new here.

I have bought Danfoss Ally thermostats (eTRV0103). Connected to my Aeotec hub V3 using Thermostat MC driver.

I Connect them so i can see Temperature and set point, but State is blank and Mode is locked to Heat.

Have attempted several re pairings and when i try to update or refresh i get a connection error. This happens for all the thermostats, even the one mounted only 2 meters from the hub.

Device profile showing as Popp.

Not sure what else is relevant, so hoping to get some help here.
