Edge Driver for Linear FS20Z-1 as a Momentary Switch?

During the Edge migration, one of my Z-wave switches that I had customized to be a momentary got migrated over to the “Z-Wave switch” driver and no longer appears to support the momentary switch that I need. Is there a way to change this behavior? Would I create a new driver from the old one, or add additional functionality, or create a virtual momentary to accomplish this? I’m really struggling with the Edge migration and feel really dumb.

I’m sure that’s very frustrating. :disappointed_relieved: zwave switch is just the generic edge driver that gets selected for a Z wave switch that isn’t otherwise recognized.

What’s the Brand and model of the switch? Maybe there’s an edge driver that would be a better match.

I believe it to be the Linear FS20Z-1 Z-wave device.

Hi @Insaneoctane

Have you tried creating a routine that every time you turn on the switch it turns it off after 1 second?

Yes, great minds think alike. I did do this, but it’s certainly a “work around” with shortcomings.
