[Edge] Driver for Aqara Switches and Remotes

Several topics describe the experience like that with many replies.
Several experienced developers and ST representatives created Frequently Asked Questions topics on Edge driver.
There are many threads on Xiaomi and Aqara device behavior with years of experience and troubleshooting.

just wondering what else the community can do to encourage people to read the forum before posting. Even experienced people have been asking the same questions over and over for years.

You can give some advice or create another thread with more complicated questions and answers for future users.

My question was more aimed at issues when pairing Aqara device using driver. I know, and read of the issues when pairing with DTH … and it was allways routing issue.

I thought maybe it’ll be different with driver but I guess not, pairing still PITA

Thanks for sharing this info! I was already on channel 20, but I remember from before, even if I placed the sensor in vicinity of the hub, it would still route through some other Zigbee device, and the only working solution for me was the turn off the power from ALL the other Zigbee devices in my house.

I added a WS-USC01 switch with driver version 1.7 It works but when I set to “detached” mode it doesn’t change anything the physical button still triggers the relay. Any chance this can be fixed?

I did try getting some logs but unsure if they are helpful. This is what i see when i switch the settings.

I might have posted this in the wrong thread before but can you add this to the driver?

Hi,
Don’t know if possible, but can you add signal metrics to your wonderful drivers .
I’m using WXKG03LM and WXKG01LM
Both worked with no issues

I don’t find it useful, and driver’s responsibility.
If the ST team finds it helpful for ordinary users they can publish this feature for all Zigbee drivers.

You are right !! if the device is working there is no need for that info,
But if not ? This will give the users a good idea regarding the reception and the need to add some repeaters.
This info. can be find in CLI but knowing from the app as more convenient. @Mariano_Colmenarejo is displaying metrics in all his drivers. @nayelyz , as @veonua suggested please consider to automatically add to all ST and community developed drivers.

i have Xiaomi button WXKG01LM
i use DH from bspranger

i delete the device to add it with edge drivers

with i pin i push link button for 10sec but never smartthings find something on pair mode

no luck

EDIT1

i just read is pain in the ass for many i will keep trying

EDIT2

success
as you say on other post need to push link button every second until app find the device

thanks for great work

Hi @veonua , I just added the Aqara Wall Switch H1 EU (With Neutral) - WS-EUK04 switch. It was discovered right away, and works perfectly. This device also has energy and power metering capabilities. But the energy and power measurement is not visible. can you help me?

in v 1.9
to update the device profile, try switching a driver to a generic Zigbee device and then back to the Aqara driver. and restart the app.

Sometimes moving to another room/renaming also helps.

it’s a part of another driver, see Aqara/Xiaomi Temperature

Hello again.

I have already enabled the Aqara/Xiaomi temp 1.2 but driver is not available.

Do I have to enable anything else?

Thank you again.

Yiannis

Hi, @dotan_shai!
I created a feature request for the team. Just as a heads-up, it can take some time to be reviewed and implemented if it gets approved, so, up to now, the only option is the driver logs CLI as you mentioned.

hi @veonua , i tried this but it didn’t work. Failed to get device status after driver update. notification is shown in screenshot.
(i tried restarting the app, smartthings hub and my phone)
(I can turn my lights on and off)

I haven’t changed anything in the second device status.
