I have an Ecobee Smart Thermostat. It’s not updating within the Sharptools dashboard the same as the Ecobee app. The app will display my heat pump on in Ecobee and yet it’s listed as “idle” in ST and Sharptools. Any clues as to what is going on? TIA!!!
I have Honeywell thermostats so this may not apply.
With the Honeywell cloud-to-cloud integration, there can be a lag between when a thermostat changes and when SmartThings updates. At least one person has reported that the lag can be as much as 4 hours.
So it’s just something I have to live with?
Dunno, might be.
For the Honeywells, one of the “modes” you can set it to is “Refresh” (instead of “Heat” or “Cool”). Refresh causes the ST cloud to refresh from the Honeywell cloud.
If Eobee has the same option, you might be able to figure out a way to add that to some of your routines.
