Hi folks, I just got this switch to replace an old GE zwave that went kaput 
During the pairing, I was able to pair via the initial click of the device, but after requesting the qr-code (I’m assuming this is due the new secure z-wave protocol?), it fails and I got an error 34-501
But the device is listed, and apparently working, if not for the fact that its led light keeps blinking as it is not in the z-wave mesh.
Has anyone faced this before? Any way to fix that blinking light?

Had a similar issue once. Delete/exclude and try the pairing process again.
Still not working for me. What’s worse I tried a few times, and now I can’t pair it back
I wish pairing overall were a more friendly process.
I saw some folks mentioning custom device handlers, has anyone used this?
Is there a way to find logs of discover requests? My hub logs are empty during the discovery process

Found the events related to the search, but either the app on android is not responding or something else. It seems the device gets configured, but the app just get stuck on the “Press and release the RF switch once” screeen
