Hi everyone!
My electrician just finished installing a new Moes switch, but it currently pairs as a generic Zigbee Thing with no controls available.
I have used the SmartThings Advanced Web page to pull the raw JSON data. Here are the exact fingerprints for the device:
Manufacturer Code: _TZE200_uenof8jd
deviceModel: TS0601
Current Driver: Zigbee Thing
Does anyone know if this specific Tuya fingerprint is already supported in one of @Mariano_Colmenarejo’s drivers, or perhaps in the Personal Tuya Devices driver?
If a channel link is available for this model, please share it so I can enroll my hub. Thank you so much for the help!
Hi everyone, and thanks for the help so far!
I managed to dig into the SmartThings Advanced Web Page and finally extracted the exact device fingerprints and keller info for my MOES switch. It turns out it’s a newer hardware revision.
Here are the details from the IDE (also attached a screenshot):
Manufacturer Code: _TZE200_uenof8jd
Device Model: TS0601
Under Advanced Info: TuyaEF00 / Cluster 0xEF00
An electrician has hardwired the switch for power only (no load wires attached to any physical lights), so my goal is to use it purely as a wireless controller to trigger my SmartThings lighting routines over the network.
From what I could gather about this specific hardware variant (uenof8jd), it operates as a 2-gang switch but uses non-standard Tuya Datapoints for the relays:
Switch 1 (Gang 1): Datapoint 24 (DP 24)
Switch 2 (Gang 2): Datapoint 25 (DP 25)
@w35l3y – would it be possible for you to add this fingerprint to your excellent Personal Tuya Devices driver so the two switch endpoints can be exposed properly?
Thank you so much!
Put an IKEA BILRESA Scroll Wheel on top of it and call it a day.
Alternatively, sell it and buy one of these.
Haha, I know, Tuya can really be a pain! Since the switch is already physically mounted on the wall by the electrician, I’m holding out hope that @w35l3y can work his magic on it. Otherwise, I might actually have to look into that IKEA wheel! Thanks again for the help, Andreas.
