I have been a user of Ring and Skybell Doorbells. I need to buy a new doorbell. Having read the Positive Reviews of Doorbird, i might just give it a try!
I did it by simply creating a virtual button and using webcore to react on the button press and doing an http GET request from the piston. Works well
Newer Alexa supports “Alexa Routine Webhooks” via the “IFTTT-style” beta.
If enabled in your region:
DoorBird → HTTP GET → Alexa Routine Trigger → Echo plays sound
But this is not universally available.
