I haven’t been able to figure out how to add the Mysa thermosats. I’ve had them for a while now but no luck on getting them added… any pointers / resource you can point me to?
Sydas, Welcome to the SmartThings community
There is a cloud integration with Mysa, click the plus sign to add a device and then pick partner devices and then pick Mysa and follow the directions from there.
The only thing special was that I had an electrician do the electrical part. Once they were installed I simply followed the instructions from Mysa and they connected first time.
Have never had a problem with them since, even with power usages.
Ron
Yeah, you’re right. Silly me I figured it out after I posted this. I looked everywhere except inside SmartThings (go figure)
Hi,
I’m new here and ask for apologies in advance if I missed any steps before posting.
I have Mysa thermostat and would like to know if there is a procedure to add them to smarthings.
Thanks in advance.
in the ST app, tap on the + (plus) in the upper right of the app, then tap on Add in Partner devices, scroll down to find Mysa Smart Thermostat
Welcome!
Maybe next time search the forum first before posting: there was a thread on this question just last week. I have combined your thread with that one, so we don’t have too many duplicates.
Many thanks!
You need a refresh automation. See the attached
Sadly refresh isn’t an option with Mysa in SharpTools.io.
We pay for premium and have used Refresh a ton for other objects.
I actually was trying to think of other integration ways to get Mysa into SharpTools without SmartThings.
Confirmed with MYSA. SmartThings support is no longer available.
It’s unfortunate, Mysa is really a great thermostat for baseboard heaters. Luckily though their app is pretty solid and doesn’t really need a lot of upkeep.
Great, what am I going to do with 8 more thermostats to put in. That is why I bought Mysa, because they would work in SmarThings.
For me, they are still working via cloud integration via linked services. I currently have this working, hasn’t been an issue for me. I tried looking it up to find a guide, can’t seem to find it… seems like they ended support but I’m not sure why the integration is still working on my behalf.
The integration of Mysa + SmartThings only works for a few select older models. Expect it to go away 100%. I had an hour call with their development team, lovely people, and they have no future plans to work with SmartThings as of Fall of 2024. The adoption rate of the integration was incredibly low.
