It does seem to be related with Samsung Smartthings Java version and not Image-charts itself.
Do you have control over Samsung Smartthings Java version? Is it on premise?
“helped me to narrow down OpenJDK7 issue with SSL in Ubuntu Trusty environment.
Just change to JDK 8will fix the issue.”

they say it is about Java version.
but we can’T change Java version of ST , especially when they don’t care about custom code.
