# Different Developer Sites? Sync issue?

I am not sure where to post this. But when I log into [https://graph-na02-useast1.api.smartthings.com/ide/apps](https://graph-na02-useast1.api.smartthings.com/ide/apps) I can see all my apps and devices. But when I log into [https://graph.api.smartthings.com/](https://graph.api.smartthings.com/) I have no devices or anything. What is going on here?

You need to know the SHARD that your Location is hosted on. It is very important!

**This method works:**

You can “accidentally” create your own _custom_ Device Type Handlers and SmartApps on _any_ SHARD and that would be a mistake, because then you can’t “publish for myself” and install into your Location.

Therefore, until further notice from SmartThings, **_know your SHARD URL and always login explicitly to it!!!_**
