Device status detection takes a lot longer than on the older application

I recently moved to the new ST App. i have noticed that device status, specifically with my doors and wifi thermostats, take a lot longer to connect and provide status.

When I go out for a walk, i open the application, and it will take some times 1 minute before I can send a request to lock the door. Same thing applies when returning.

Anything i can try to help resolve this issue?

Nope. That’s how it’s been since the new app arrived. Not a word from SmartThings about it.
