Whether it relates to the Sonos 2025-12-08 driver and was somehow triggered for more users by the recent 0.59.9 f/w update, or it is in the f/w, the obvious thing to do is to roll back both those updates while investigating.
Bugs happen - the latest W11 update had issues but a) they have a way to uninstall b) it was acknowledged c) corrective updates were released in a few days - but with this - nothing.
Hi @nayelyz and @Itati , is there any update on this?
The issue is still present/has re-manifested and this thread seems to have gone a bit cold?
Thanks…

@Itati That is great and thank you for the update. Happy to try a beta channel driver for a fix if that will be any help when the time comes

Hi,
The release has already been made available in the Beta channel and will be promoted to Production as soon as possible.
In the meantime, if you would like to test it, you can switch to this driver using the following channel invitation: SmartThings. Add a little smartness to your things.

I just installed this (it went very smoothly!) and, so far, so good! The Sonos response is better than ever.

Also had the same issue, the beta driver seems to have solved for now, I’ll keep monitoring.
I have two ST hubs both messaging the same Sonos speaker, one was not affected for some reason.

Ditto. The Sonos “update” is still working 12 hours later. Thank you!

Received the release driver, thanks, with no delay at present, but as the delay previously came back 24hrs after a reboot will wait a little longer to be certain.

As others have noted, 2026-01-26 seems to have fixed the delays issue - many thanks.

Thanks for fixing this - but there is one long standing issue that would be nice to see resolved-
When the speaker has a firmware update, when it comes back on-line Smartthings no longer updates events, and the play/stop etc status doesn’t change.
This can be resolved by the Refresh command, but this is found in the Advanced Web Interface - it’s not something easy to do within the app.
Checked mine today and seems to have corrected itself, was having a 5 min delay before.

There was an update from Sonos and I installed it and immediately thought “Ooops!” but all is still well. Sonos and ST are still playing nicely together! Thank you @Itati !

Hi everyone,
Just to provide an update regarding the issue.
Our engineering team has confirmed that the fix is now available in production .
If you’re looking for the most stable experience, we recommend staying on the production version, as beta versions may still present some issues.
Thanks for your patience!

The process is the same. Please go to the production channel link and install the Sonos driver.
