As @nayelyz has shared at this post, the UI metadata is being cached and queried twice a day, and to avoid vid duplications, where the only changes were at the capability’s presentation, the system is not creating new vids.
However, it will create a new vid when the device-config changes (or when the DTH - Device profile is updated).
Also, this seems to be a workaround to improve testing new presentations. I will test it out and share the results with the team.
