Current Device Deals & Best Prices (link to new thread at bottom of thread)

Hmmm…
Just to be clear, is this remote the same one they sell with the Ultimate Home set? I have the hub and am interested at this price if that is the case.

I hadn’t thought so, but maybe. Check out this chart on Logitech’s site:

https://support.myharmony.com/en-us/harmony-add-on

I can’t keep all the product names straight anymore, but if you can decipher it, it seems like that will give you the answer.

Haha, yeah, product names are messing with me here.
Can’t decipher, looks like Crutchfield has a 60 day return policy though so might go ahead.

Ordered the Home Kit plus 2 additional sensors from Amazon. Shipped to Canada was 327US. Shipped to US was 312US to my postbox. Paid a little more to avoid the drive for now.
Unfortunately it will be close to $450CAD once the Credit Card company ******* me with their fees over the crazy exchange rates we have right now.

I’d be interested. I need some switches that don’t need nuetrals

I worked for Crutchfield for several years. ( live just down the the road from corporate) Great company to deal with (Tier 1 retailer). If you need anything ask for Sonny. Tell him Ringo sent you.

The reps at Crutchfield have not had a lot of training in home automation. They more then likely will only know basics until they start carrying more equipment. They probably will stay away from it since it will require too much support.

This may be a stupid question, but do you really need an existing Hue hub to make this work or can you be a new Hue customer and use this?
Obviously you will need Hue lightbulbs, but besides that…
(The description says for existing customers, but from what it appears, this is all you need to start you Hue system.)

Hue has a $30 off upgrade deal for the new hubs, which requires you to enter the serial number of your existing hub. Looking at the apple sale that is what it looks like they are promoting. NOT an actual sale from Apple.

Shucks, thought I could score a hub for $40! Worth asking, though! Thanks.

Don’t know if anyone noticed, but if you want a cheap-o device to use SmartThings (or SmartTiles really) on, Walmart has dropped their cheapest android tracfones to less than $10

I have one of these cheao-o androids on my night stand. It is always on with a nice clock & weather display created with zooper widget pro and also have a few widget/icons using tasker and sharptools to control the bedroom lights and ceiling fan.

It’s pretty confusing looking at the Apple site.
Show Best Buy the price on your phone and I bet they would match it.
They never even pay attention to what I’m showing them when I price match from Amazon.

Sam’s Club has the Samsung Multiroom R1’s for $95 each. I thought I read that there were a few places selling these as BF door busters for $100.

I just came from home depot in Barboursville wv and they had the quirky tripper 2 pack sensors for 10.07. I bought the last 4 boxes they had. $40.00 for 8 sensors is not bad. I saw various posts about them here working or people having some issues but at $5.00 a sensor it was hard to pass up.

Does this work with ST officially? I don’t see it listed in the topic talking about official Samsung speakers

It’s not on the compatibility list either.

It’s not on the list, but it operates no different than the other radiant devices and m devices on the list. I don’t expect any issues I’ll post my results this weekend.

Just to add, Sears is also price matching the Best Buy & Amazon sale at $199. Theoretically, it should also qualify for additional Shop Your Way Rewards points/cash/back/off (depending on the terms of any specific offer. I know for sure that there is a $15 off $50 and also a $50 off of $250 (which gives you essentially $50 free for whatever you add to your cart to make it reach $250). Here’s the link : http://m.sears.com/samsung-smartthings-home-monitoring-kit/p-05740563000P

EDIT : I can confirm that if you add items to your cart that meet a given Shop Your Way Rewards coupon’s requirements, it will work on the reduced price SmartThings kit and give you points to take off immediately as well earning more for later. $250-50 works for sure.
