I can save the routine with “Before” selected and then come back to and it is set for “After”. Anyone else having this issue, what’s the workaround? Thanks
You even commented in that post ![]()
Yes, only to say I was having the same problem. Apologies for adding redundant clutter to the board.
Confirmed. I’m having the same issue.
I have not had success with routines “before” sunset or “before” sunrise. I can get them to work “at” or “X Minutes” after, but never “before”.
It is like Smartthings can not be triggered until the event happens.
It’s like it can’t recalculate each day for change in minutes each day that sunrise or sunset happens.
Hi, @okiesnake1
Have you reported this to Customer Support? This falls within their scope:
-
Open the SmartThings app
-
Go to the menu tab at the bottom-right corner.
-
On this page, select the option “contact us” and then go to “Error reports”
-
Select the topic related to your issue and follow the steps to submit your support request
Did anybody find a workaround? This is very annoying.
Yes, I’m using SharpTools to do it and it’s working great.
