So i am guessing not many used those devices directly to smartthings.
That being said, to be able to easily support thenrange of tuya zigbee devices, i am looking into a tuya gateway that allows me to add tuya devices easily to it, and then gateway will talk locally to smarthings.
However, i see many types of gateways around, and i prefer to keep all communication from smart things to gateway to devics all local. Dont really want to rely on cloud? Does ST hub go to cloud to control the tuya hub? Not locally?
If this a good idea and could allow me to use the devices above to the gateway, which gateway is the better that can support zigbee/wifi/matter?
I figure i nees to setup smartlife account and add hub to it to add new devices but beyond that sont really need it. That would be the cloud part at initial setup but any future control from ST would be local.
