Why do Samsung call it the “new app” when it was released in 2017? Who calls something three years old “new”?

Samsung, obviously! Never an organisation to follow what the rest of us see as ‘normal’…
We have an internal working name for the new app (bonus points if you can figure out which podcast I talked about that on 
) , but given the confusing nature of having two different apps, it’s easier to just call it Classic and New. Once Classic is fully sunset, it just becomes the SmartThings App.
