How to Change Smart Home Monitor to Armed when Home is Away
Also anyway to know the status of iPhone if its home or away as used to be in old app

You can’t automatically change SHM states in the new app based on anything except time. Not sure if this is an intentional decision or jsut hasn’t been developed yet, but that’s the current case. I would email support and request it. support@smartthings.com
