Stop me if I’m wrong, but I haven’t seen this capability. This may be implemented through another capability though.
Such as droneFlying or carDriving…But I’m getting too far…Maybe in 3-5 years…
This capability may be merged with Presence Sensor or another one which already exists…To be discussed
The SmartSense Presence sensor triggers present/not present events by proximity to the hub.
The Mobile Presence option uses geofencing.
GPS Positioning sounds redundant 
. ATM Machine PIN Number.

I have a question first: can we query the hub and get all devices with geofencing capability though?
If not, maybe we should have a specific geoFencing capability? This could be useful to drive those cars and fly those drones later…
This is definitely a good, relevant and non-redundant Capability.
It is not binary (true / false) Presence, but rather Devices that can report their Latitude, Longitude.
Problem is there are many potential related “optional” Attributes, but those have to go in other Capabilities…
- altitude
- velocity
…
@tgauchat, after second thought, I renamed it geoPositioning to avoid any confusion with a specific technology and in the interest of a better taxonomy.
