Just wondered if any update to this.
I bought 2 of these cameras as they were listed on the confirmed devices list, but still unable to use them for what I bought them for originally.
Starting to feel very let down by Samsung…

Any update please?
Any update on this please?
For the one I have which is rev B, I found the right software update here:
http://support.dlink.com/ProductInfo.aspx?m=DCS-5222L
im facing the same issue regarding DCS-5222L B1. It works perfect with mydlink app but unable to discover the product on my APP.
Is there a whereabouts if i could add this product manually or if there is a provision to sign in Dlink account from smartthing app like Logitech Harmony rather then discovering it?
Same issue here. Frustrating that the myDlink app works (but has it’s own issues) to view cameras and get alerts, but not the SMARTThings app.
Trying to integrate events into the camera seems pointless if you can view video.
Any update on this from our friends at Samsung??? Pretty sorry saga
Hi, does anybody has resolved the problem?
I have already contacted support and they send me to the comunity, they told me that the new upgrade of Dlink doesn’t allow to connect to the ST, and in the ST web page the Dlink’s Cameras doesn’t show as a compatible device only are shown the Samsung ( Smartcam HD Pro) and Netgear (Arlo).
I downgraded to firmware 2.13.01 from the DLink site. It kills mydlink integration but restores SmartThkngs integration.
It looks like they removed D-Link from the ST app too.
Same issue - ST app does not find either of my D-Link cameras. Any official word? @slagle?
This FIXED it! NOW if we can get SmartThings to update the Hub firmware to work with the Newer DLINK firmware! We can have both setups working perfectly.
downgraded to firmware 2.13.01 from the DLink site, but you will have issues with remote viewing via DLINK app.
Yeah. ST integration is more important to me though.
Dlink Camera integration, it no longer appears in the app, how can be added
What about if I have a model A camera? I have 2 model A cameras. Will they work with Smartthings?
I’m not thinking it is coming soon. Seems if it’s in the ST Lab, it’s not going to get the support it should so that it works.
Why has the DCS-5222L camera been removed as a supported device now??? Was listed as supported which is why I bought it but now it appears that the folks at Smartthings are giving up on it!!! Can someone on the support team annotate this thread and tell us what is going on here??? I get that there are issues with support here but just pulling the plug on this after advertising that this was a supported device is NOT COOL! These things are not cheap and many of us have invested in these specifically so they would work with the Smartthings platform. Thanks.
I agree!!!
Bought the 5222L based on the compatible product page, and now it’s gone!
Would be nice to have a definitive answer from someone from Samsung on this. A lot of people are now stuck with kit they purchased because of Samsung’s false advertising
