Can you paint the multi-sensor so is not so obvious?
I painted one of my ST multi sensor to match the color of my door without issue. Only problem I could think of is painting it with metal base paint which could block the signal or dark color paint and exposing it to sunlight could cause wrong Temp reading.
Since these are notoriously poor at measuring temperature I wouldn’t concern yourself. (c;
