Can the battery loss on IKEA buttons be fixed?

Is there anything that can be done to stop the draining of these batteries so fast?

unfortunately, no, this has been discussed in extreme detail, but nothing has been done.

Ikea 5 button remote killing batteries

So I recently picked up two 5 button Ikea remotes and both are killing new batteries with in 24hrs. I have another one and it’s been working fine for months. Does anyone know of a fix for this issue or is it a bad batch?
