I have a few automation controllers like the ISY that let you control things via REST API, so doing HTTP post you can access http://ipaddress/lights/kitchen/on to turn it on and so on. Is it possible to use a virtual device with ST and have it send a command like this when turned on or off?
CoRE can make & receive web requests, and read or pass variables as part of the request.
