[New Release] This is a new mobile app that integrates your existing ipcameras and smartthings. Only android support for now https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.aiwatch
Any ipcamera brand like Amcrest, Axis, Foscam, Dahua, Reolink, Hikvision, generic onvif, etc that supports rtsp or mjpeg protocol should work.

How does it work with smartthings?

  1. mobile app aiwatch connects to your cameras and does intelligent object detection like person, vehicle or animal
  2. Turns on virtual switch in smartthings classic app for the events(for eg, person detection) you are interested in. Treat the virtual switch like motion sensor
  3. Use your smartthings app to trigger any action based on the virtual switch state

Integration will require installing a smartapp and adding a virtual switch. Here is the full link on steps to integrate,

Hi there! It was a little bit hard to configure. But i’ve done it.
I’m new at this (smartthins and all the rest).
How can i set the notifications enabled? How can i in smartthings use the camera for do something (like notify me) if there’s movement detected?
