i also have my whole house on Philips hue and it does work well assuming SHM works as should.
i personally struggle with arming and disarming automatically however my wall mounted kindle running action tiles works just fine manually. i have entry and exit delay setup on certain sensors which also work good
As for siren i have rewired my old 12v outside bell boxes to a 12v transformer which is plugged into a smarthings power outlet so the outlet triggers in core and bells and lights power up. i find this works great and have the same setup for a 12v magnetic gate lock.
