BUG: Unable to see all OCF Network Audio Player type from Google Assistant

Sorry I can turn it on and off by voice commands only. In the app there s no possibility to do this. I’m looking for a workaround to play radio (tunein) on my soundbar with a voice command. It works with a bluetooth link between my google hub and the soundbar but after watching tv google is not able to connect to the soundbar automatically anymore. I’ve to adjust the standard speaker in the Google home app again.

at least you get to see it in Google Home and you can turn it on or off.
We used to see it too, but it has been removed without any warning.

After seeing your message, I have tried to link again my SmartThings account in Google Home and there is one (small) step toward victory.
Google Home is able to see my soundbar again, but it doesn’t offer any control, not even On/Off, see screenshots below:

Is it “normal” ? shouldn’t it display On/Off actions at least like it used to before ?

Is it possible to get some “official” help from @Brad_ST ?

Hi, since we added official sound bar support it no longer appears as a switch. It is up to Google to decide which controls to show in the Google Home app, and unfortunately in the case of sound bars they do not yet show anything.

What about the voice support to play radio or spotify with google home for this soundbar? Is this a feature to add by google or by the developers of the smart things app? It seems to me that this is a feature that has to be added by the developers of smart things.

when did you re-add the soundbar support ? We have been waiting since march and we had no visibility about it. I thought you would tell us whenever you had some information.

I tried some voice commands and I was able to turn it On / Off, I could also pause/unpause a music playing through Samsung Multiroom. This is great news ! thank you.

I was able to skip to the next song, but whenever I asked to play the previous song, it would only start again the current song, not the previous one.
Is this the right place to report such behavior ?

Could you tell us what kind of voice command we have access to ? I tried different things but apart from the ones I have cited above, I didn’t find anything.

My observations

It has been about a month, you can control volume/mute/playback (play,stop,pause etc)/input source/onoff

My Samsung QN800A TV has Google assistant built in.

My Samsung Q70T soundbar and Samsung QN800A TV show up in the Goolge Home ap.

I can turn them both on and off, and also control the volume from the Goolge home app.

I cannot add either to a speaker group.

Anyone know if adding the soundbar to a speaker group will be possible someday?
