[BROKEN] NST Manager v5.0 (Does Not Work Anymore)

None of the logs show me any commands processing.

It likely would be better you do this from a web browser. and perhaps share as a private message (or enable remote diagnostics.

I don’t see error, but it is not showing commands processing.

We do want to catch when things are not working, some of the logs / errors.

Mine stopped again this morning. I’m away at the moment so don’t have a cess to my computer

So it looks like we can no longer make Nest Dev accounts. Does that mean we are out of luck if we want to connect Nest to SmartThings using this?

Nope just install the code… I’ve embedded my dev token which still has a few hundred slots available.

My apologies if this has been covered already, will this SmartApp stop working once the Works with Nest program shuts down at the end of the summer?

I back again, so I got it installed but would appear NST is unable to read any of the data from my nest equipment? No temprature reading and if I change the state though my nest app it’s not reflecting in NST. However, if I change away state or heat mode in NST it dose update my Nest Thermostat?

I have read back through thread and installed app twice, I can’t see what I’ve done wrong/missed?

Give it a while. Sometimes it takes a good few hours to update initially I found.

Anyone getting an NST Manager API warning today? Just started happening about an hour ago.

The app texted me 15 times overnight…that was not fun. Does Nest just not like to play well with others?

Seems Google is messing around with the API. Been hosed all morning, but just settled down.

I am having the same issue, glad it’s not just me

None of my Nest devices have updated in ST since 6/14.

The API is down, I have other services connected to Nest API besides NST Manager who are unable to get data from Google.

Hi all, I have a continued issue with one of my NEST Protect devices. I have 3 in the house, the one in the 1st floor seems to (very very often) give this error via smartthings: “Nest Protect - Downstairs Health Warning: Device is OFFLINE. Please check your logs for possible issues.”

This is the Nest protect that is sitting right next to my nest thermostat, which doesn’t have problems. It’s also the one in the middle (height wise) of 2 other nest protects which don’t have issues (basement and upstairs).

Any ideas on what’s going on here? It shows up in the official Nest app without any issues.

NST Manager is saying there has been no checkin or data since June 10th.

I am running latest version from the GitHub, I have tried clicking refresh and save etc. but still cannot get it to update.

Is this still live? As far as I was aware the pending Google changes should not have taken effect as of yet.

I suggest you go into NST manager in ST classic mobile app and hit done.

You may want to check logs to see if there are any errors as you do this.

Folks are seeing a couple of issues interacting with each other

  • ST cloud problems
  • Google playing with their API servers causing outages on their side.

Hitting done should resolve these for most folks.
