I don’t like the idea of wireless security cameras (at least for now). They aren’t that advanced and reliable.
Did you consider that you can also Plug in the Blink camera into the AC and still have the batteries installed for when the power outage happense?
I have FIOS and my internet/Sync module are connected to an APC UPS…So my Blink cameras are never down for too long. This summer power outage did test its limmits though.
I agree that lag introduced by sleepiness to save battery can be an issue.
But for some of us in certain locations, it’s either a totally wireless camera or no camera at all!
