These are already tested and working fine!
Only one question… devices do not sleep after some inactivity time?

The default setting of IAS is that device reports the current status to the driver every 300 sec.
If these periodic reports are not received, the device will be marked as offline.

Try closing the app and reopening it.
Close and open the sensor contact several times to see if it receives the first event.

Try to pair it again, as close to the hub as possible.

If it doesn’t work it is necessary to see the pairing logs to analyze what is happening.

Or groovy idle doesn’t reflect the real local for devices ?

That IDE information is not applicable for edge drivers.

All edge drivers install and run on your hub and work locally

Trying to use a linkind motion sensor and its not updating status after the first update. Any ideas?

What does its status show, a cloud(offline), movement or no movement?

Does it happen right after the pairing or time after?

What dth did you use?

Device is showing (Motion detected) Is been in that state for the last six hours. Funny thing is when first pairing it shows (no motion).
Right after pairing.
I’m using the (ZigBee Motion Sensor MC).
I should also mention I’m using the Smartthings WIFI system.

I don’t know if I added this device or it was in the stock driver.

Did it ever work?

It seems that this sensor needs to reset the movement every time it detects it, like others sensors in the driver like orvibo, heiman…

What dth did you use before?

It did work with the groovy (ZigBee Motion Detector).
But when i switch to the edge driver I get the above response.
I’ll try the groovy handler again and see if the device is still ok.

Just confirmed that the Groovy dth (ZigBee Motion Detector) does work.
Do you know if there is anyone else using the linkind devices with edge?

Viewing the DTH is the same that uses orvibo and heiman which have a default timeout of 20 sec.

Tomorrow I modify the driver and put a timeout of 20 sec (time in which it will show motion after it is detected), then will be emit no motion event.

If you want to put a different time? 30, 40… you are already the first user to use it
