@Rafael_Borja’s been working on updating the existing Device Handler and i wanted to post a link to his post in a different thread here so we can hope he shares his work with the rest of us 
He also posted some queries which i will try and summarize below
Ok… thats only a small change on the existing device handler (that’s why I asked about “a new code”)
I’m planning to refactor the existing code to remove one device per button.
My plan is basically
1 - Create a simple dimmed switch to represent the fan control with 5 levels (0 for off, 5 for high)
2 - Remove the smart app simplifying the device handler
3 - Add a timer button on the main device handlerAny other thoughts for improvements?
Hopefully we should see a new / updated handler that will make it compatible with the new ST app…
