Behavior when time conditions are absent in automations

I’m using a switch to indicate people present in the area and to trigger a people-present appropriate set of settings on the thermostat. However I do not want the automation to trigger other than first thing in the morning and override a manually set temperature.

How does the automation behave if I do not set any time condition?

It would re-read the IF conditions any time one the devices changes state for the capability used in the automation.
