It would sure be great if you could get a notification when a door sensor stops reporting!!!
There are several “wellness check” smart apps which community members have created for themselves and then shared with the community that can do this.
If you check the quick browse listsin the community – created wiki under smart apps and look for the “wellness check” list you’ll see them. 
“Simple device Viewer” is one of the most popular, but there are several others with slightly different features.
