Automation Doesn't Work When "Once Per Day" is selected - bad startTime and endTime

I am using motion detectors to trigger my Good Night and Good Morning Modes. When I would expect the events to trigger, they don’t. I went into the IDE and found this line:

Not in day/time window
`The current time of day (Fri Jul 15 02:57:09 UTC 2016), is not in the correct time window (Tue Jul 12 04:30:00 UTC 2016): doing nothing`
startTime: 2016-07-09T04:30:00.000-0700, endTime: 2016-07-10T09:00:00.000-0700, t0: Fri Jul 15 02:55:51 UTC 2016

You can see that the startTime and endTime windows are several days ago. Why is it not updating the time window?

I am experiencing the same problem. Typical ST cloud issues I assume.

There is a bug in the once per day option. It doesn’t work. Well, it works once, then dies. ST knows and said it will be fixed in the next app release.
