Hi,
I’m wondering whether it is possible to create a single automation that turns the porch light on at sunset and off at sunrise. I just don’t see how to do this in the same automation.
I think there are supposed to be some shortcomings with automation and sunrise-set !
Looks like two automations,unless someone has found a way?

Currently, this is only achievable through creating two automations. You would not be able to accomplish with just one automation.
You would need (1) for if: Its sunset, then turn light off, and (1) for if: It’s sunrise, then turn the light off.

Single Automation? No. However, a single Smart Lighting SmartApp Routine can do it.
