So this is more of a ‘how can i get creative’ with this question.

I have an August Doorbell and Smartlock and quite sad to see no ST integration yet (that’s a different diatribe).

Anyway, my house is large and sometimes I cannot hear the chime and sometimes I do not have my phone next to me (or its on silent).

Is there a pathway to integration that would allow me back into ST to simply get a smart home notification of some kind should my doorbell ring?

Attach a Xiaomi Door Sensor (it’s quite small and pretty cheap) and then you can use that integrate with other Smartthings products. (check on Xiaomi Door Sensor Device Handlers by A4refillpad) to get you started in case you haven’t already found a solution.
