Yep. What you described is exactly how it works. I had a rule to turn off all switches including Cooper Switch when I left the house. If ST state got out of synch then turning of Cooper Switch would actually turn on the lights. I guess I can exclude the Cooper Switch from the rule.
Do you know how I can modify your app such that if Alexa turns the lights on then the Cooper Switch can be changed to on also? This is not a big deal to be honest.
More importantly, is the dimming to me . Unfortunately, still having issues where I want to be at 100% level when first turning on the switch. Level goes to 100 but the Cooper level in ST still stays at the old value. In your code I see we’re setting the level to the actual lights we’re controlling which is why it works. However, the Cooper dimmer level is not reflected in that update – may be due to device handler.
